OSURA LUNCH BUNCH: Peace and Cherry Blossoms

Learn how the famous Cherry Blossom Festival came to Columbus for the first time this spring under the auspices of the International Volunteer Organizations. OSURA member Marlinda S. Iyer, who chaired the International Peace Garden and the Columbus Cherry Blossom Festival, will outline how the historic event came about. She and Eric Neubauer, president of IVO, will explain how it was patterned after and linked to the iconic national festival in Washington, D.C. by state and blood line.
